THE MEANING AND THE BIRTH STORY

First things first - the name. Kalaage in our world is an amalgamation of two words - Kalakriti (creativity) and Collage. We took the Kala form first and age form second and boom… our creation was born - Kalaage.

The modern world will see us as another fish in the seas, as another drop in the ocean and what not. But if you ask us, we didn’t start Kalaage just for the sake of it, or just because we got bored of our 9-6 jobs and decided to start a ‘startup’. We started Kalaage because we failed at creating something we loved, something we appreciated and something which gave us motive to take a giant leap. We failed to sustain and run our magazine - THE WOUNDED TIGER, so was born kalaage.

The real pain for writers in today’s time is that there are no platform to connect them straight away with magazines and editors and none for magazines to connect with Members and writers.

So with our experience with running a magazine and what a writer need, we started Kalaage. That’s that.

WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM US?

Let’s clear the air once and for all shall we? So, Kalaage is a social networking websites for writers around the globe to join, share, and interact with other writers. It also is a platform for magazines and newspapers to interact with readers, writers and increase their readership and subscription base.

So, to sum it all up - Kalaage is an online platform for writers to share and upload their article and also get a chance to get published in various print journals.

This way Kalaage provides a never seen or heard before platform and help not only the writers but the magazine and newspaper industry to directly interact with people and get unpublished, creative and regular content from a pool of writers.
