THE MEANING AND THE BIRTH STORY

First things first - The name Kalaage is an amalgamation of two words - Kalakriti and Collage. We took the Kala form first and age from the second and boom! Kalaage was born.

The modern world will see us as another fish in the sea, as another drop in the ocean and what not? But if you ask us, we did not start Kalaage just for the sake of it, or just because we were bored of our 9-6 jobs and decided to start a ‘startup’. We started Kalaage because we failed at creating something we loved, something we appreciated and something which gave us the motive to take a giant leap. We failed to sustain and run our magazine - THE WOUNDED TIGER, so that is where Kalaage came from.

The real pain for writers in today’s time is that there is no platform for them to connect straight away with publications and neither for the magazines to connect with the common writers.

So with our experiences of running a magazine and being a common writer, we started Kalaage to make both ends meet.

WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM US?

Let’s clear the air once and for all? So, Kalaage is a social networking website for writers around the globe to join where they can share their works and interact with other writers and readers. It also is a platform for magazines and newspapers to reach out to readers, writers to get more readers and contributions from the writers.

So, to sum it all up - Kalaage is an online platform for writers to share and upload their article and also get a chance to get published in various journals.

This way Kalaage provides a unique platform that helps not only the writers but the magazines and newspaper industry to directly interact with people and get unpublished, creative and regular content from a pool of writers.
